I think that this guy – rightly or wrongly – has become the poster child for dogfighting, but in my opinion if nobody can tell me the names of the dogs that suffered, then we’re focusing too much attention on Michael Vick and not enough on the dogs that he mistreated.”
“Because there’s a proven link between people abusing animals, and being violent towards people. In fact the FBI considers cruelty to animals as one of the three primary indicators of criminal behaviour, and that’s been my experience over the last forty years as well.”
