In Memory of Elizabeth Olive Maud Todd

Elizabeth Olive Maud Todd

Miss Todd believed that kindness to animals and protecting them from harm was everyone’s responsibility. There are a great many animals who are at risk and The Humane Society of Canada is grateful to Miss Todd for her generous gift to help us protect animals and nature in her memory.

Her commitment, kindness and generosity give the animals new hope. Thousands of animals of every shape, size and colour will be safer because of her. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and other small animals, horses and farm animals, lab animals, wildlife and their habitats will be helped through her efforts.

Her donation will be used to carry out hands on programs to help animals and nature, mount rescue operations, expose cruelty through hard hitting undercover investigations, work to pass laws to protect animals, funds non-invasive scientific research, support animal shelters and wildlife rehabilitation centres and spread the word about how to help animals and nature through humane education.

We promise to use every one of her hard earned dollars carefully and wisely. And when it comes to fighting cruelty, we don’t give up. Ever.
