We adopted her from the Humane Society on June 25, 1994 - she was about 2 years
old. We said farewell to her on November 6, 2007. We helped her to manage her
diabetes the last 4 years - she never fussed with the twice daily needles - she
knew it was keeping her well. She was smart, and funny and beautiful (as you can see in her photo). The little heart on her nose was a symbol of the love
she held in her heart. She was lucky to have us, but not nearly as lucky as we
were to have her. We miss her so much and take comfort in knowing she had a
great life with us - she made our life great, too! She lives strong in our
memories and holds a special place in our hearts where she will never be
forgotten.
