Its
been a year since I had to make the hardest decision of my life, to put
my beloved 13 1/2 year old Golden Lab to sleep, arthritis got the best
of her and she couldn't walk anymore, I new that dreaded day was
coming, I just didn't want to face it, nor did my family. I tried
everything medically and physically to keep her mobile but it just
didn't work anymore, when she lay there, she was a young as could be,
healthy as a horse inside but her legs gave out and she just lost her
strength, after I made the phone call to the veterinarian, I cried like
a baby because I knew the process had started and the end was near, it
was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
