Remembering Ollie
Ollie was a marshmallow soft and friendly fellow who showed up at our door four years ago, a starving and filthy kitten. We brought him in and from that day on he never stopped purring. He liked being around people, he liked fuzzy-ball cat toys -- ideally dipped in cat nip. He liked being petted; with the touch of a hand he would collapse sideways, presenting his ample belly for a good scratch. He was both friend and annoyance to his house cat-mate Arthur, with whom he'd often curl up at night. He had a front row seat on most window sills to watch the street action. And he was very fond of eating. Ollie was a delightfully distinctively typical cat. His family misses him deeply.
