| REX NEEDS A NEW HOME, GRAVENHURSTFeatured |
Rex is in great shape, although is a bit overweight. He loves to chase tennis balls and swim! He is house trained and seems to love it inside, but he is lacking in some manners especially around food (he's a mooch)
Unfortunately, his original owners had to give him up as they moved out of the country. He is currently staying with a foster family, but he doesn't like their current dog, so they are looking to find a new permanent home for him.
Rex, possibly because he was left outdoors for long periods of time by his original family, has some food aggression problems: He will growl if you approach him while he is eating and is protective of bones - however, he will surrender a tennis ball or toy with no problem.
Ideally, he should go to a patient & understanding family, with no children or other pets
