DFAIT News Release - Nov 2, 2009 - The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, today announced that the Government of Canada has taken formal action against the European Union’s ban on trade in seal products by requesting WTO consultations.
