On Sunday September the 12th, the Humane Society of Canada and members of the Beach Community honoured three dogs whose friendliness helped to avert a disaster: Dante, a dog with a big heart credited by police as befriending a man who allegedly set out to embark upon a widespread killing spree. We will also be honouring Elvis and Cisco, two dogs who were in the area at the time.
