The Humane Society of Canada has recognized the uniqueness and fragility of these species and their habitat. This is why we have assisted the Nahampoana Reserve in Madagasgar. With your help, we are in the process of getting funds, equipment and supplies to this isolated but important corner of the world. Guards are being hired, veterinary treatment is being provided, new vegetation is being planted. Each of these things combined will keep the Lemur population healthy and flourishing.
